Locally-brewed sake

The area at the foot of Hakusan Mountain was once part of the feudal fief of Kaga, which yielded one million koku (koku = about 5 bushels) of rice, and is still a rice and sake producing district. There are nationally renowned sake breweries, vineyards and wineries, and shochu (distilled spirit) made from the maruimo, a Kaga vegetable.

Annex (five rooms)
Annex

All five rooms are spacious and are located on the first floor, near the baths. The futon, the Japanese style bedding, is laid out ready for use so that you can rest immediately, and no room attendant will enter your guest room.

We have set up rooms with beds in response to numerous requests. These rooms have been well received, as it is easy to lie down in the beds and get up again.

Main building (10 rooms)

All the guest rooms in the main building are located on the second floor. There are no toilets or sinks in the rooms. Please use the toilet and sink in the corridor. There are no locks on the doors of the guest rooms, and you are asked to use the lockers (free of charge) in the corridor for storing your valuables. You are asked to lay out your futon, the Japanese style bedding, yourself.
